I’ve been searching SO LONG for the perfect nude lipstick shade and I now I’ve finally found it! It’s MAC’s Jubilee in Lustre which is flawless. The colour is a peachy brown which is quite subtle so you can build it up.
The colour totally suits my colourings which is dark hair, blue eyes, pale skin and freckles
Unfortunately I have to say the shopping in Melbourne isn’t very good! Yes there is a Topshop, but I think either I’m growing out of it all the quality of clothing is getting worse. Other then that there isn’t that many places to shop or maybe I just haven’t found where to go. So after many failed shopping attempts I resorted to doing an ASOS order. In typical ASOS style most of the stuff didn’t fit properly (a “size 6” was too big) or it looked different to the pictures on the website but this black long sleeve top did escape being sent back. This long black sleeve top replaces another one that I bought over 15 years ago and as you can imagine was looking a bit worse for wear.
I know this isn’t the most exciting purchase but it’s a really handy item as it looks good with jeans and high waisted skirts. Buy it here
I just bought these beauties from Topshop- from endless wearing black or blue jeans it’s great to finally have a pair of jeans in a different colour. I’m thinking if I get some sort of maroon/burgundy top they’ll look good…
Today was the first day of my payday weekend- yippee! My first paycheque from my new job- the first full time job I’ve had in over 2 years!!
I bought this Black Cotton Spandex Bodysuit with a low back from American Apparel- love it! It should look great with all my high waisted skirts and trousers. I just need to find a bra that’s going to work with this.I also bought this lovely lightweight white cashmere vest from Topshop- this is now the third one I own- the others are in black and baby blue. Perfect for exercise and sunshine!
Carrying on with my workout purchases I also got these cute Nike Gym Vintage shorts- all my other workout trousers are capris but thought a pair of shorts would be good for my visits to the physio and for those Tracy Anderson exercises where you need to hold to the ball at the back of your knee to get a bit more grip.
And finally I bought these monochrome flower/triangled Nike Epic Run Printed Tights/Capris. I’m wearing my capris every day to cycle to and from work in and to exercise in so I thought I could afford myself another pair.
Today I joined instagram. (If anyone’s interested my instagram thing is @visualsalivation.) I’ve browsed instagram pages on my laptop before- mainly to look at Tracy Anderson (she’s actually the reason I joined twitter too!) I kind of don’t really “get” it. Also it’s annoying that you can only really use it on your tiny little phone screen. I could use my fiance’s ipad but he’s a bit protective so I don’t know if this is a good idea and whether it’d actually help me that much in directing myself around.
Anyway I decided to try the #100happydays challenge because it seems nice, I have been a bit unhappy/stressed recently and thought it was a good way to get me into instagram. I am a bit unsure how I’m going to go about it though because…
1. The things that make me happy on a day to day basis are
Browsing the internet!!
Do I just keep posting a rotation of those pictures over and over for 100 days?!
2. What if NOTHING makes me happy? I mean drinking water when I’m thirsty makes me happy but isn’t that scraping the barrel?
3. To ensure I stick to the challenge and take a photo of things that make me happy do I just keep taking photos throughout the day and then at 23:55 decide what made me happiest and post that?
4. Should I LOOK for things that keep me happy? If I was to do that I could just take a photo of every item of clothing I own.
My fiance’s mother had bought some cute writing paper from Kiki K so I thought I would have a look inside. I needed to replace my notebook from Typo which had fallen apart. So I bought this cute little pink leather one and….
This recipe folder caught my eye. I have loads of Perricone and Junger recipe print outs so it will be great to have them in a cute little folder.
